Description

Loads a bitmap image as a background into the Design window.

The image can be located at a specific location in world coordinates - This is very useful for displaying location specific data such as seismological results in the context of other Design Window data.

note.gif (1017 bytes) "Show Background Image" must be enabled. If it is not, run show-background-image-switch.

How to Use

  1. Run the command. You will be prompted for an image index number.

If several images are to be loaded, this distinguishes one from the next. A browser window will open and allow the user to select the image to be loaded.

  1. The dialog (below) will prompt for the limits of the background image display. The point co-ordinates of the top-left, top-right and bottom-left corners will fix the extent of the image.

  2. Click OK to insert the image.
