Economic Settings: Adjustments
To access this screen:
-
Display the Economic Settings screen and select the Adjustments tab.
Defining mining cost adjustments by bench is optional. You can vary incremental mining costs below and above a “reference bench” and by material destination, see Economic Model for an explanation of how the mining costs are adjusted.
Each destination is listed in the leftmost table column. You set dollar adjustment values independently for benches below and above a reference bench. Adjustments are applied by default to waste and ore destinations for which the adjustments are not explicitly defined.
Note: An ore destination is displayed as undefined where there are missing parameters.
Activity steps:
-
Display the Adjustments tab.
-
For the ore destination (Process) set the Reference bench number. This becomes the bench that defines Below and Above.
Tip: Use the Bench toe elevation reference list below to see the elevation value for each bench. You can also double-click an item to transfer that bench to the Reference cell of the selected processing method.
-
Enter a $/tonne/bench adjustment factor for the benches Below and Above the Reference bench.
