Options
Note: This information relates to the import of a geological model.
To access this screen:
-
The Options screen is presented as the fourth stage of block model import.
The parameters entered here are particularly important if you do not import density data fields, or their equivalent, and when you import topography percentages or fractions.
To define density and reblocking options for model import:
-
Display the geological model import Options screen.
-
Specify a Default density which can be a tonnage factor or tonnage. The use of this parameter depends on the type of the rock mass field being imported:
-
No rock mass field – The density is applied to all model cells and sub-cells.
-
Density field – The density is applied to cells and sub-cells with undefined density value.
-
Tonnage Factor – The tonnage factor is applied to cells and sub-cells with undefined tonnage factor value.
-
Tonnage – The tonnage is applied to cells and sub-cells with an undefined tonnage value.
-
-
Optionally, Customize the standard mass-volume formula. Setting a value other than 1 allows you to customize how rock mass is calculated from volume and density; commonly used during the import of topography percentages (fractions).
-
If Reblocking is required, enter the factor by which to increase blocks. Enter the XYZ block values (1x1x1 = import without reblocking, 2x2x2 = double block size and halve records, and so on).
