Select Curve Extension Limit Dialog

An explanation of fields and properties

 

This dialog is used to select the criteria that should be used for extension of a new ramp string. It may be a standard half or quarter turn, or it may be limited by distance or final azimuth. If a distance is chosen, a limiting actual, vertical or horizontal distance may then be supplied, using the Distance dialog.

Selecting OK produces the new ramp string if Half, Quarter or Azimuth options are selected.

Field Details:

The following options are available:

Half: a standard half-turn will be applied to the resulting road string.

Quarter: a standard quarter-turn will be applied to the resulting road string.

Distance: selecting this option displays the Distance dialog, allowing you to limit the extension of the new road by a specified distance value.

Azimuth: the extension of the new string will be determined by the final azimuth value.
