Importing a CSV model

Specify Model Parameters

To access this dialog:

  • Once coordinate fields have been selected in the CSV Data Fields dialog, click OK.

This dialog is shown as the second stage of importing a CSV format geological model.

There are three columns of XYZ values that are available for editing:

  • Model Origin: defines the origin of the geological model in world space - note that block model cells are represented by a local coordinate system, meaning this definition represents the local world coordinate system origin for the model. Note that Datamine Studio sets the origin with respect to the corner of the first parent cell and not its centroid.

  • Block Size: enter the size in established units for each parent cell in X, Y and Z directions.

  • Number of Blocks: Enter the maximum number of blocks in each direction that represent the hull of the defined model.

If the imported model contains sub-cell information, you will need to indicate this using the check box at the bottom of the screen.

Click OK to continue to import the CSV model.
