calculate-structural-orientations ("cso")

To access this command:

  • Enter "calculate-structural-orientations" into the Command tool bar and press <ENTER>.
  • Use the hot key combination "cso".

Command Overview

The Calculate Structural Orientations screen is used to convert logged alpha angle, beta angle and (if available) core orientation line data into dip and dip direction values.

Command Steps:

  1. Run the command.

    The Calculate Structural Orientations screen displays. See Calculate Structural Orientations.

  2. Select drillhole data.

  3. Define a Dip field and Dip Direction field.

  4. Define Alpha and Beta Angle Conventions.

  5. Select an Alpha and Beta field.

  6. Click OK or Apply.
