Description

Saves the current view plane parameters to a section file.

How to Use

  1. Run the command - the Section Definition dialog is displayed.

  2. The dialog will show the current view settings and a default description based on the azimuth and dip settings. You can edit any of the values manually.

  3. <OK> will add the settings to a table object, called "ViewDefs" in memory.

  4. The command can be rerun on any number of views and each instance will create a new row in the "ViewDefs" table object.

  • This object can be saved as a Section Definition file from theLoaded Datacontrol bar context menu.
  • The get-view command will allow you to choose from the stored views and restore one of them.

  • You can only have one section definition file open during any one session. Attempts to open another file, while one is already active, will result in the original file being closed.
