End of Period Surfaces

Using the Schedule ribbon, select Export | Surfaces
This dialog is used to export as a wireframe the end-of-period position of the mine for each scheduling period. This is a common requirement for presenting a mine plan.
The resulting solid has an attribute called PERIOD which contains the period number of the surface (useful where multiple periods have been specified in a range). There may be several surfaces in the object with different PERIOD values. Where multiple period wireframes exist in the output object, this could be useful for animation purposes, for example:
- Generate surfaces for periods A to B
- In the Wireframe Properties dialog, change the Sequence Column to [Period] and click OK.
- In the Sheets control bar, right-click the output EOP surface object and select Sequence Controls.
- Move the left slider to the zero position and the right slider to position 1.
- Enable both Animate From and Animate To check boxes.
- Enable the Lock To to From check box.
- Play the animation to see the progress of the EOP surfaces for the selected periods.
Throughout processing, a progress period is displayed in the Status bar. You can Cancel processing at any time (processing must, however, complete for a
Field Details:
Topography: browse for a topography file representing the surface to be depleted. This must be appropriate for the loaded scheduling data and, if your project represents multiple pits, the topography file must contain surface data for all pits.
Periods: Choose
what qualifies a block to be 'mined out' as a percentage from 1 to
100. For example, setting '95' will cause all blocks with 95% or higher
to be considered mined out if that fraction of volume/tonnes has been
mined.
You can also select a starting (From) and end (To) period, which can
be the same.
Output: specify the output object name that will represent your end-of-period surface.
Generate: generate the surface object according to the specified parameters.
