Intersections Tables

Creating and modifying an intersections table

Creating an intersections table

If you used the wizard to load drillhole data, you would have been given the opportunity to create a default intersections table. The default table definition can be changed, or you may create a new, empty intersections table at any time. A wide range of field types are available for inclusion in the intersections file including an intersection label, averaged hole properties, length weighted average grades, intercept coordinates, dominant text values and more.

To create a default intersections table

  1. Activate theDataribbon and selectObjects | New | New Hole Table

  2. Select the Intersections table type and choose OK.

  3. An Intersections table object is created and listed in the Loaded Data control bar.

To change the table definition

  1. In the Sheets control bar, Tables folder, right-click Intersections, select Format.

  2. The fields currently defined in this table's view are displayed in the Columns in View box. The intersections table must at least contain the fields Hole, From, To and Zone.

  3. To remove a field from the table, select the field name in the Columns in View box and click Delete.

  4. To add a field to the table, click Add to start the Column Wizard.
  5. The order of columns in the table can be adjusted using the Up and Down buttons.

  6. Choose OK to apply the changes and view the modified table.

Whenever an intersection is saved, a record is added to the top of this table and all the defined fields are computed.
