Define Slopes - Bench/Lift Overrides

To access this dialog:

Activate the Design ribbon and select Pit Modelling | Define Slopes. Select the Bench Fallbacks tab.
Activate the Design ribbon and select Dump Modelling | Define Slopes. Select the Bench Fallbacks tab.

This panel lets you specify a per-bench (or lift) region assignment, to be applied where no other slope region information can be found for the data. It can be considered a 'last resort' to apply non-default slope region settings (based on an existing region definition) to part of a bench or lift during automated pit design.

Essentially, a fallback region will be assigned to bench or lift if the data (that is, part of a bench or lift) does not fall within a previously defined region (as per the Define Regions panel).

If no Default Region is specified for a bench or lift in this case, the DEFAULT slope region values will be applied.
