Description

Create plane data based on the vertices of a selected string object.

A plane object will be fitted to the string data according to 'best fit' principles.

How to Use

  1. Select the required string.

  2. Run the command.

  • A plane will be created according to 'best fit' principles in memory. If no plane object has yet been defined, a new planes object will be created and made current object will be created.

  • In the Design window, the newly generated plane is represented by a selectable point at the centroid of the reference string; in the 3D window, it is represented by a disc or rectangle, depending on the current plane properties.
