Description

Calculates the average joint spacing, fracture frequency and RQD for a set of selected Planes; optionally outputs these results to a histogram and/or a Points object.

How to Use

1. Optionally select the required planes in the current data window (first applying filters if required).

2. Run the Command.

3. The Calculate Geotechnical Attributes dialog is displayed.

4. In the Selected Objects group, use the tick boxes to refine your selection from the list of available Planes objects.

5. In the Group group, select a common key field for differentiating groups of planes, or select [None] for an average calculation across all planes.

6. In the Output group, select the required output options and data columns.

7. Click Run.

8. If displayed, define the necessary parameters in the Histogram dialog.
