How to Use

  1. Run the command.

  2. Following the prompts in the Status Bar, select (click on a segment) the portion of the first string which is to be included in the combination.

  4. Click Cancel.

  • The overlapping strings do not need to be perimeters i.e. closed strings.
  • The resulting string  will contain the attributes from the first of the two strings.
  • This command is used in conjunction with the Keep Originals toggle (Design | String Tools | Keep Originals) and dictates whether the original string data is kept when strings are combined. See keep-combined-switch.
