Description

Uses the parameters of maximum and minimum chord lengths, and a minimum angle to modify a string.

 Preselecting data obviates the need to click on multiple items when running this command.

How to Use

  1. Run the command.

  2. The Condition String dialog is displayed.

  3. In the message area of the status bar, you are prompted to "Select string to be conditioned".

  4. Select a string (which can be open or closed).

  5.  Set the parameter values, and click OK.

  6. Alternatively, select a string or multiple strings before running this command.

note.gif (1017 bytes) The resulting string will contain no chords which have a length less than the minimum chord length. The default minimum chord length is 0.0. The string will contain no chords which have a length greater than the maximum chord length. The maximum chord length must be greater than the minimum chord length. No vertex on the resulting string will have an angle less than the minimum angle. The default minimum angle is 0.0.
If the command has been used once then the default values for the three parameters are the same as used previously.

This command can be completed by double-clicking (or tapping) anywhere in a 3D window.
