Drawing Order

To access this screen:

On the Format Display screen, select the Drawing Order tab.

On a plot sheet, the drawing order of plot items defines the sequential order in which things are drawn to the screen. The first item is at the bottom (or at the back) of the collection and subsequent items are placed on top.

An item at the back may be completely obscured whereas one at the front will be completely visible. This may depend on a plot item's opacity.

Use Up and Down , and First and Last to modify the drawing order of the objects and overlays to give the desired display. Items that appear at the top of the list are drawn first (so are, potentially, the most likely to be obscured by overlapping plot items drawn later).
