Table Contents tab
To access this screen:
-
Double-click a Table plot item in the Plots window to display the Table screen, Click the Contents tab.
This tab, part of the Table Properties screen, is used to configure general properties for a table plot item, including the data object and columns that are represented, and how they are displayed. Click Apply to update the current table with edited properties.
To configure these settings:
-
From the Table list, select the in-memory table whose values you want to display in the plot view.
-
In the Columns list, select the column you want to configure. The buttons to the right of the list apply to the selected column only, so only one column can be modified at a time.
-
Click Reset to restore the selected data column properties to their default values.
-
Click Insert to display the Select Column screen. You can add any column that is part of the selected table's underlying database. You can also duplicate existing columns and format the duplicated entries separately from the original.
-
Click Delete to remove the selected column from the table view. This does not delete any data from the object's database.
-
Click Format... to open the Format Table Column screen for the selected column.
-
Click Up or Down to change the selected column's position in the table. Moving a column up displays it further to the left; moving it down shifts it to the right.
-
Click Title Row/Format to edit the table title row using the Cell Format screen.
-
Click Font/Color to edit the font and color used to display table values.
-
Click Headings to edit any header rows associated with the table using the Cell Format screen.
-
In Data Rows, enter the number of rows to display. Ten rows are shown by default, but this can be increased or decreased as required. This value counts from the initial row; it cannot be used to decimate rows or show every nth row.
-
In Frame, select the thickness of the table's outer frame, in points.
-
In Grid, select the thickness of the cell borders within the selected table, in points.
