Unfold Wizard: Files and Settings Dialog

To access this dialog:

Activate the Structure ribbon and click Unfold .
In the Unfold Wizard dialog, click Files and Settings.

This dialog allows you specify how the files that are created in the Unfold Wizard are restored, saved and deleted. This can be done automatically, or manually using the buttons provided. Saving the files and settings enables them to be loaded when the wizard is next run. The files created by the wizard are also shown to help you gauge your progress through the wizard.

Field Details:

Settings: allows you to specify how the files created in the wizard are restored and saved. The options that you set in this dialog apply to all tabs in the Unfold Wizard.

Automatic: the following options allow the automatic restoring and saving of files and settings created in the wizard.

Restore on load: if selected, then the latest files created by the wizard are loaded automatically whenever it is launched. The settings specified in each tab are also restored.

Save continuously: if selected, then the settings specified in each tab are automatically saved, and are restored the next time the wizard is run.

Manual: the following buttons allow you to manually restore and save the files and settings created in the wizard.

Restore: loads the latest files and settings created in the wizard when it was last run.

Save: saves the latest files and settings created in the wizard.

Automatic file delete: if this option is not selected, then a confirmation dialog is shown before a file is deleted as a result of an operation in theUnfold Wizardbeing run more than once. ClickYesin the dialog to delete the relevant file, or clickNoto cancel the operation.

Phases: shows a read-only list of the four stages in the unfolding operation,represented by each of the tabs in theUnfold Wizard.

Unfolding Files: shows a read-only table of the files that are produced by theUnfold Wizardduring the unfolding operation, listed in the order in which they are created. For each file, the relevant phase is shown, and theExistcolumn indicates whether it has been created. The files that are produced are dependent on the option selected in the UnfoldMode group on the Unfold tab, as shown below.

The files produced by theUnfold Wizardcan be viewed in theProject Filescontrol bar.

Save and Close: saves any changes made in the dialog, and closes it.

Cancel: closes the dialog without saving changes.
