Floating Viewpoint Mode

An overview of the Floating Viewpoint mode.

Floating Viewpoint

The Floating Viewpoint mode is used to freely navigate and move through the displayed data.

View Navigation Controls

The view movements available after Floating Viewpoint has been selected, are listed in the Floating Viewpoint section of the table on the navigation controls page.

 

To enter Floating Viewpoint mode, use one of the following methods:

  • Using theViewribbon, select [Floating] from the View drop-down list.

Floating Viewpoint mode is cancelled when any other object or viewpoint is selected from the Viewpoint list, or when Inside or Outside View is chosen for a 3D Object.
