Description

Projects a string upwards at an angle to a defined level to create a new string.

How to use

Create a new string at a specified elevation. The Z coordinates of all the points on the new string will have a value of this elevation. The string is projected at an angle depending upon the value of the default face angle. This is set using the command set-face-angle. If there is a selected string this string will be used for the projection, otherwise you are asked to select a string. This command is one of a suite of commands that can be used for road design. Depending upon the progress of the design you may be asked to point to the high side of the string with the cursor.

This command can be completed by double-clicking (or tapping) anywhere in a 3D window.
