calculate-structural-orientations ("cso")

To access this command:

  • Using the command line, enter "calculate-structural-orientations" and press ENTER.

  • Display the Find Command screen, locate calculate-structural-orientations and click Run.

  • Use the quick key combination "cso".

Command Overview

The Calculate Structural Orientations screen is used to convert logged alpha angle, beta angle and (if available) core orientation line data into dip and dip direction values.

Command Steps:

  1. Run the command.

    The Calculate Structural Orientations screen displays. See Calculate Structural Orientations.

  2. Select drillhole data.

  3. Select Alpha and Beta attributes.

  4. Define a Dip field and Dip Direction field.

  5. Define Alpha and Beta Angle Conventions.

  6. Configure an Alpha and Beta field.

  7. Click OK or Apply.
