See this command in the command table.
To access this command:
-
Using the command line, enter "assign-end-section"
-
Use the quick key combination "aes".
Note: This command is only supported for use in the legacy Design window. Consider using other drive profile management tools for extruding drive profile shapes, such as create-drive or extrude-strings.
Command Overview
Assigns a drive cross-section along a string at a supplied orientation.
This command is used in underground mine design, to generate cross-sectional perimeters in memory, anywhere along a drive control string. Typically, it would be used before running of link-drive-ends, to generate the necessary beginning and end perimeters for the drive.
After selecting the drive control string and the required cross-section location, you will be asked to supply a point to define the orientation of this perimeter. The perimeter is then stretched so that the drive, which is coaxial around the control string, will have a constant cross-sectional area.
If the orientation point is very close to the original position point, the cross-section will be placed perpendicularly to the control string, similar to the action of assign-cross-section.
