Export to Ventsim

To access this screen:

  • Using the Utilities panel, click Export Designs to Ventsim.

The Ventsim Integration screen is used to define the location of a .vsm file that can be read into the Ventsim© application.

Ventsim is an underground mine ventilation simulation software package designed to model and simulate ventilation, airflows, pressures, heat, gases, financials, radon, fire, and many other types of ventilation data from a model of tunnels and shafts. Datamine are an authorized reseller of Ventsim.

To export your planning data to Ventsim format:

  1. Use the browse button to select a folder (by default, this will be the current Studio UG project folder.

  2. Click Create Ventsim File to generate the .vsm output.

  3. Check the Output control bar to see the status of the export.
