Command Overview

Set the view to next or previous ring plane along survey string.

When designing blast holes, these commands make it easy to move quickly to the next or previous ring plane (as defined along a survey string).

To move to the next ring plane

The "next" ring plane is behind the current view plane, or further away from you.

  1. Run the command

  2. Click a survey string (this will normally be perpendicular to the current view, and displayed as a point).

  3. The view changes to line up with the "next" ring plane.

Tip: Turn on clipping in Z to restrict the amount of information displayed.

  • The message "No ring locations defined for selected string" displays if there are no more defined ring locations on the selected survey string in the direction that you have specified.

  • The message "Selected string does not intersect view plane" displays if you click on a string (perhaps the incorrect survey string) which does not intersect the current view.
