Command Overview
Make a ramp connecting two points, according to supplied criteria.
Command steps:
-
Display required reference data in a 3D view (for snapping).
-
Run the command
-
Digitize 2 points to define the start and end points of the ramp.
-
On the popup screen, if you want to constrain the azimuth at the start of the ramp, enter the Starting azimuth of ramp.
-
Optionally, enter the Finishing azimuth of ramp.
Note: If you don't set an initial or final azimuth, a single turn ramp is generated at the gradient specified on the next screen, with the missing azimuths being calculated as required. At least one azimuth must be defined.
-
Click OK.
-
Use Enter Radius to define the turning radius of the ramp segment.
Note: If you don't set a turning radius, it is calculated based on the presence of other parameters..
-
Optionally, enter the Gradient of string (degrees) and click OK.
Note: If you don't set a gradient, a single turn ramp is generated, with the calculated gradient reported.
