Update Menu Options

The following table describes the options on the Update menu.

Update Menu

Option Description
Update all icon Update All

Update all out of date components.
Update tree icon Update Descendant Components

Update the selected component and all descendant components.
  Stop All Updates

Abort all updates that are currently in progress.

Note: Some processes can only be aborted after independent processing tasks have been completed. This may result in a delay between when the process stop is requested and when it is completed.
