Configure Factor Results Scatter Plot Properties

The ScatterPlot tab for Factor Results Scatter Plots is similar to the regular ScatterPlot tab, with some additional options.

Activity Steps

  1. Select the ScatterPlots beneath the Multivariate Simulation in the Project Tree.
  2. Select the ScatterPlot tab in the Property Panel.
  3. Configure the following options as required.
    • Draw – Select how to draw the data points from Circle, Cross, Plus, Dot and None.
    • Show Line of Regression
    • Show 1:1 – Correlation line.
    • Use same scale for both Variables
    • Independent X Variable field group:
      • Independent X Variable – Select the variable to display on the X-axis.
      • Log10 – Use a logarithmic scale for the X-axis. Only available when Transform is set to None.
      • Transform – Select how to transform the X-axis data from None, Log, NormalScores and Rank.
      • Despike – Remove noise from the X-axis. Only available when Transform is set to Rank or NormalScores.
    • Independent Y Variable field group:
      • Dependent Y Variable – Select the variable to display on the Y-axis.
      • Log10
      • Transform
      • Despike
    • Confidence Levels field group:
      • Level 1 – Specified percentage of the data within the inner highlighted space, representing points closest to the centre of the plot. Default: 25, green.
      • Level 2 – Specified percentage of the data within the middle highlighted space. Default: 50, blue.
      • Level 3 – Specified percentage of the data within the outer highlighted space. Default: 75, red.
      • Outside – Data outside of the confidence intervals. Default: grey.
