Configure the Options Tab
The Options tab controls how data displays in the Column Definition Table.
Activity Steps
- Click the Data Component in the Project Tree.
- Select the Data Loader tab at the bottom of the Main Canvas.
- Select the Options tab in the Property Panel.
- Configure the following options as required.
- Max unique values – Maximum number of unique values allowed for a column with categorical data.
- Max display decimals – Maximum number of display decimals assigned to a column on import.
- Max domains grouped
- Look ahead samples – Number of samples the loader 'looks ahead' to determine the type of data stored.
- Default floating type – Select from Double and Single.
- Expression language – Select from JScript, VisualBasic and CSharp.
- Reverse colors – Apply hot (red) colours to low values and cold (blue) colours to high values.
- Detach to Project File – Detached data is written to the project file. Only available if the data source has been detached.
Note: Having detached data written to the project file makes it easier to copy or move the project, because the data is included as part of the project file. However, large data files may result in memory or performance issues. Supervisor automatically deactivates this setting if memory issues are detected. Do not change this setting unless it causes issues.
- Warning when data detached – Warn if your data is automatically detached from the data source.
