Trend Plots – Model Validation
Trend Plots are used to validate the estimated grade by comparing the mean of the estimated grade to the mean of the point data within a series of slices. The slices can be oriented in the X (Northing), Y (Easting) or Z (Elevation) directions.
By default, the Trend Plot displays the naive mean grade for the point data and the estimate mean for any selected block data sets. In addition to these, you can also view the:
- Naive mean with a top-cut applied.
- Declustered mean grade.
- Declustered mean grade with a top-cut applied.
Notes:
The declustered and declustered top-cut mean grade series are only available if a Decluster component has been added to the point data.
The Trend Plot component is part of the Model Validation toolkit and can only be added to a Model Validation component in the Project Tree.
