Configure GCoS Settings for Model Validation Grade Tonnage Curves
The GCoS tab provides options for configuring the Validation GT (Grade Tonnage) Curve Global Change of Support feature.
Activity Steps
- Select the GT Curve component from the Project Tree.
- Select the GT Curve tab in the Property Panel.
- Configure the following options as required.
- Options field group:
- Enabled – Enable GCoS.
- Variogram – Select a variogram to inform GCoS.
- Number of Polynomials – Number of Hermite polynomials used in the GCoS calculation.
- Block field group:
- Size – Selective Mining Unit (SMU) block size. The default is always set to the largest block in the configured dataset.
- Disc – Disc SMU discretisation.
- Reset
- Point Variance field group:
- From Data – Variance calculated on the raw sample data.
- From Psi – Variance calculated on the Psi values. This is controlled by the number of polynomials specified in the Options group.
- / – Variance calculated from the data and from the Psi values. This value should be close to 1.0, which indicates a suitable number of polynomials have been selected.
- Point (Declustered) Variance field group:
- From Data – Variance calculated on the declustered sample data.
- From Psi – Variance calculated on the Psi values. This is controlled by the number of polynomials specified in the Options group.
- / – Variance calculated from the data and from the Psi values. This value should be close to 1.0, which indicates a suitable number of polynomials have been selected.
