Configure GCoS Settings for Model Validation Grade Tonnage Curves

The GCoS tab provides options for configuring the Validation GT (Grade Tonnage) Curve Global Change of Support feature.

Activity Steps

  1. Select the GT Curve component from the Project Tree.
  2. Select the GT Curve tab in the Property Panel.
  3. Configure the following options as required.
    • Options field group:
      • Enabled – Enable GCoS.
      • Variogram – Select a variogram to inform GCoS.
      • Number of Polynomials – Number of Hermite polynomials used in the GCoS calculation.
    • Block field group:
      • Size – Selective Mining Unit (SMU) block size. The default is always set to the largest block in the configured dataset.
      • Disc – Disc SMU discretisation.
      • Reset
    • Point Variance field group:
      • From Data – Variance calculated on the raw sample data.
      • From Psi – Variance calculated on the Psi values. This is controlled by the number of polynomials specified in the Options group.
      • / – Variance calculated from the data and from the Psi values. This value should be close to 1.0, which indicates a suitable number of polynomials have been selected.
    • Point (Declustered) Variance field group:
      • From Data – Variance calculated on the declustered sample data.
      • From Psi – Variance calculated on the Psi values. This is controlled by the number of polynomials specified in the Options group.
      • / – Variance calculated from the data and from the Psi values. This value should be close to 1.0, which indicates a suitable number of polynomials have been selected.
