Validation Grade Tonnage Curve
The Model Validation GT Curve component calculates a grade tonnage curve to assist with assessing cut-off values.
The Model Validation GT Curve component can only be inserted under a Model Validation component.
When first created, the Model Validation GT Curve displays all block models configured on the Model Validation component. The colour of the each series is specified on the Block Data property tabs and the cut-offs are configured on the GT Curve property tab. See Configure Model Validation Data Settings and Configure Grade Tonnage Curve Properties.
The Model Validation GT Curve also supports a Global Change of Support (GCoS) function. By enabling GCoS, a theoretical curve is created at:
- Point support
- SMU support
- Declustered point support, and
- Declustered Selective Mining Unit (SMU) support.
The GCoS configuration page allows configuration of the GCoS, SMU properties and also displays the calculated variance from the raw point data and the Psi values, providing a means of verifying the number of polynomials selected. If GCoS is enabled, the calculated theoretical SMU grades become available for plotting against the naive sample data on the Model Validation Q–Q Plot.
