Change Expressions

After you define a calculated column you can change the expression. Once you apply the change, you must update all components relating to all analyses that were defined for that column. See . You can change the expression in the Column Definition Table or in the Configure the Columns Tab of a data component for the calculated column.

Note: Once updated, the new expression is applied to wherever the calculated column is used.

Activity Steps

1. Navigate to the Data Loader Window.
2. Edit the Expression in the Column Definition Table.
3. Click outside of the table to accept the change.
4. Right-click the Column Definition Table and select Apply Column Changes from the menu.

Note: You can also reload the data, but then all analysis components for this data become invalid and need to be recalculated.
