Configure Conditional Simulation Boundary Properties
Domain boundaries can be hard or soft. The simulated value of a node for a hard boundary may only be calculated based on data points and nodes from the same domain. For example, where a dataset comprises two domains and the boundary between the domains is hard then each domain may only be simulated using data points from itself. Conversely, a soft boundary allows points from one domain to be used in simulating another domain.
Activity Steps
- Display the graph.
- In the Property Panel, select the Boundary tab.
- Enter M into any cells in the Boundary table that you want to be merged.
Note: Domains that are merged act as having a soft boundary between them.
