Configure Cross Continuity Model Properties

The Cross Continuity Models tab controls which assays are included in cross-continuity model generation and the auto-fitting process for the Linear Model of Coregionalization (LMC).

Activity Steps

  1. Select the Cross Continuity Models component in the Project Tree.
  2. Select the Cross Continuity Models tab in the Property Panel.
  3. Configure the following options as required.
    • Assays field group:
      • Assays Box – All available assays that can be used to generate the cross continuity models, based on the position of the component in the tree and the available Assay components.
      • Apply – Rebuild the Project Tree with any changes made in the Assays Box.
    • Autofit Linear Model of Coregionalisation field group:
      • Auto Fit – Adjust the existing models so that the resulting LMC is positive-definite.
      • Assay – Select the primary assay for adjusting the other variograms and determining a valid solution.

Note: Not all variogram combinations may be able to be adjusted to a positive-definite state. In addition, you should check the fitting of the adjusted variograms to ensure they are still appropriately fitted to the experimental variograms. Some variogram combinations may require extensive adjustments to the manually fitted variograms to achieve positive-definiteness.
