Configure Grade Control Drill Hole Spacing Analysis Properties

The Drill Hole Spacing tab controls options to adjust the formation of the drillhole array.

Activity Steps

  1. Select the Grade Control DH Spacing Analysis component from the Project Tree.
  2. Select the Drill Hole Spacing tab from the Property Panel.
  3. Configure the following options as required.
    • Costs field group:
      • Flagfall Drill Program Cost – Fixed start cost of drill program.
      • Cost Per Sample
      • Cost Per Drillhole
      • Enable – Whether to calculate the cost of the drill program.
    • Direction field group:
      • Azimuth – Direction in which holes dip. For example, holes that dip east have an azimuth of 90, or holes that dip south have an azimuth of 180.

Note: For holes that are vertical any azimuth can be used.

      • Dip – Angle at which holes dip. Negative values indicate the direction is down. Holes that are vertical have a dip of -90.
    • Distance In Each Direction field group:
      • Major – Distance over which holes are spaced in the major direction.
      • Minor – Distance over which holes are spaced in the minor direction.
      • Downhole – Distance over which holes are spaced in the downhole direction.
    • Spacing Ranges And Steps field group:
      • Min – Minimum range in each direction used to generate the Spacing Table.
      • Max – Maximum range in each direction used to generate the Spacing Table.
      • Step – Step sizes used to generate the Spacing Table.
    • Fill Spacing Table – Fill the Spacing Table with values calculated from the Spacing Ranges And Steps field group.
    • Spacing Table – The values used to calculate the plots in the Main Canvas.
    • Sort By – Order the scenarios are displayed on the plot. Select from:
      • Scenario
      • Kriging Efficiency
      • Slope
      • Negative Weights Sum
      • Negative Weights Count
      • Drillhole Samples Count
    • Show Summary – Add a summary overlay to the graph.
