Download the Organizational Chart in Excel Format from ZYGHT

The following steps explain how to export your organization's structure from ZYGHT into an Excel file for external use.

Activity Steps

  1. Log in to the ZYGHT platform with appropriate permissions to access administrative features.
  2. Navigate to Administration > Manage People > Organizational Chart.
  3. Locate the Export to Excel button, typically found in the upper-right corner of the organizational chart display.
  4. Click the Export to Excel button.
    • This action will generate an Excel file containing the complete organizational structure.
    • The file will usually be sent to the registered email address of the user performing the export, or it may download directly.
  5. Check your email (if applicable) for the download link or locate the downloaded file on your computer.
  6. Open the exported Excel file and review its contents. The file typically includes columns such as:
    • ID: The unique identifier for the unit.
    • Unit Name: The name of the organizational unit.
    • Parent Unit Name: The name of the unit to which the current unit reports.
    • Status: The status of the unit (e.g., Active/Inactive).
    • Reports To: The ID of the parent unit.
  7. Ensure the file contains the detailed organizational structure and hierarchical relationships as expected.
