Administration
The Administration module in ZYGHT provides tools and settings for managing users, system configurations, organizational structures, and various operational parameters.
Users & Access
ZYGHT’s administration tools let you onboard, notify, and organise people efficiently. Administrators can send welcome and reminder emails to help new users log in, targeting specific users or groups as needed. Bulk user creation is supported via a downloadable template, with on-screen previews, error reports, and verification in the User List once the upload completes. Day-to-day account hygiene is handled with self-service password changes and clear password complexity rules. Beyond credentials, admins can place users in the organisational chart and associate them to specific projects, sites, or factories to scope access, as well as exclude selected users from platform banners where required to tailor communications.
Bulk & Data Operations
Administrators can perform high-volume data work without sacrificing control. Bulk uploads exist for workers and strategic activities, each driven by system templates that include validated dropdowns and date formats. The platform shows an upload review, provides a downloadable error file if issues are found, and confirms success before records appear in their respective lists. When you need data outside ZYGHT, you can export the organisational structure to Excel for analysis or sharing, and export legal requirements to formats like Excel/CSV with filters for period or status.
Configuration & Settings
ZYGHT offers granular configuration so the system reflects your processes. Admins can add custom fields—such as date pickers—to report forms and control their placement. Mobile reporting can be hardened by requiring a digital signature, with changes synced to the app after saving. Notification behaviours are tunable too: for example, you can specify users who should be alerted when high-severity findings are created. For programme-level structure, administrators can create and manage Activity Programs, including naming, activation, and translations.
Entities & Structure
Core entities—roles, organisational units, and user associations—are maintained in dedicated admin areas. You can create staffing roles (with types, translations, and deactivation for history integrity), build or edit the organisational chart from the root node down, and assign responsible users at any level. Individual users can then be placed into chart nodes to inherit structure, keeping responsibility lines clear and data consistent across modules.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Administrative good practice underpins reliable audits and smoother support. ZYGHT recommends unique user accounts for every individual, avoiding reuse of deactivated IDs to preserve traceability and compliance. Keeping identity records clean—creating new accounts rather than recycling, and promptly deactivating leavers—prevents access errors and ambiguous audit trails that complicate investigations.
Other
Several admin-only controls support exceptional or corrective actions. You can approve or reject authorisation requests that unblock edits in scoped reporting areas, with outcomes notified to requesters. Where planned work needs cleaning up, bulk deletion tools let you filter and remove multiple scheduled activities in one step with confirmation messaging. For regulatory reporting, administrators may also request the reopening of closed reportability records or enable reporting for past periods when policy allows—ensuring data remains complete and accurate.
