Risks and Controls

Analysis & Risk Management

This area centralizes how teams structure risk information, view and filter findings, and interpret status cues. Users can open findings from Preventive Controls, pivot between Grid and List, filter by org context, roles, dates, and IDs, and export or PDF individual records. Color codes (red/yellow/green) and risk icons (from partially to fully filled circles) provide rapid triage, while binocular and magnifying-glass actions expose behavioral observations and record details; a calendar action supports planning follow-up activities. Together these tools speed prioritization and close-out of findings.

AST (Advanced Safety Tool)

AST supports structured safety reviews end-to-end. Administrators configure questions for the AST Review form, enabling fields such as Observed User when needed, and workers report via Preventive Controls with attachments. View screens list AST/ART reports with filters and quick actions (view, PDF, plan activity, or create an action plan). This modular approach lets organizations tailor prompts, capture evidence, and route observations to planning workflows without leaving the review context.

Inventory Risk

Inventory Risk provides process-map–scoped matrices and efficient bulk administration. Teams can mass-upload matrices by scope using a downloadable template, validate imports, and confirm status changes. Creating a risk matrix follows a clear sequence: select activity and task, identify hazards and undesired events, evaluate pure risk using the configured matrix, propose control measures with responsible and verification roles, and record the residual risk. This cycle standardizes evaluation and ensures controls and ownership are explicit at each step.

Asset Control

Asset Control manages the lifecycle of assets—from registration and responsibility assignment to inspections and status tracking—across web and mobile. Admins can create categories tied to inspection checklists and frequencies, configure state logic (fit/unfit ranges), register assets individually or via bulk upload (with project, workplace, category, shifts, contractor/company, and control-group references), generate QR codes at scale, and review reports. In the app, users search by category/serial or QR, perform checklist-based inspections, and confirm successful sync; contract admins can also review workers’ assets via grouped views.

Control Agreement

This module streamlines contract and legal-commitment controls. Admins can auto-mark commitments as Expired when past due, with the expiration field surfaced across create/edit/list views; frequencies are configurable for better cadence control. Operational tasks include rejecting a worker’s exclusion from a document/contract control group via the notification flow and removing individual worker requirements from staffing views. These features keep compliance status current and audit-ready while minimizing manual reconciliation.

Lean Tool

Lean Tools operate as configurable preventive controls aimed at eliminating inefficiencies and reinforcing standard work. Admins create observation formats mapped to checklists, manage tool types, and—where policy requires—disable commitments within the module. Practitioners report observations (rejecting future dates), generate findings or activities from negative answers, and optionally jump straight into the Activity Planner to schedule follow-ups. Data exports (Excel/PDF) support analysis with filters across org nodes, areas, types, reporters, and date windows.

IAS (Safe Acts Index)

IAS quantifies safe behavior by recording safe and unsafe acts, calculating an index, and focusing attention on leading indicators. Administrators configure module labels, severity factors, safe/unsafe action dictionaries, multilevel categories, and visibility options to filter undesired events as actions or conditions. The report flow collects organizational context and observers, then logs observed acts with comments and severity; the system totals results and records the report. IAS thereby supports culture-building, targeted coaching, and informed decision-making.
