Create additional sample portions for a sample

1. Access the CCPRTN—Portion application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCPRTN—Portion Detail screen.
2. Set Mode to SEARCH Portions on Submit.
3. Enter the relevant search criteria and click Search to display portions that match the criteria.
4. Select one or more sample portions.
5. Click Create Portions to display the Create Portions dialog box with defaults populated from the first selected sample portion.
6. Specify the Number of new Portions (per Sample) to be created.
7. Select the Portion Type, Location Code, Sample Handling Code and Single-capacity Container Type Code.
8. Enter the Notes.
9. Click OK to the additional sample portions sibling sample portions. Where a sample does not have the required minimum number of sample portions, then these sample portions are created also.
