Configure a blank, standard or spike QC sample as a paired duplicate or replicate QC sample

1. Access the CCQCSM—QC Sample Modification application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCQCSM—QC Sample Modification Detail screen.
2. Search for samples associated with a job scheme.

3. Select a blank, standard or spike sample in the sample grid, and make the following updates:

   • Secondary Analytical Type—Duplicate or Replicate (If left as N/A, then the sample is assessed only on its primary analytical type of blank, standard or spike.)

   • Secondary QC Type Code—Select a QC type from the list of active QC types relative to the selected Secondary Analytical Type.

   • Dup Original Sample Code—Select the code of a sample in the job scheme that has the same Primary Analytical Type, Primary QC Type, Primary QC Code, Standard and Standard Lot, from which the paired QC sample is made.

4. Click Submit.
