Set Scheme Workflow Status for a Job
Use this activity to set scheme workflow status for a job.
The AUTO_COMPLETE_PREP application preference is used to control whether a sample preparation scheme associated with a sample, where the sample scheme's workflow status is Not Started, has its workflow status set to Completed automatically when the sample's workflow status is set to Started.
The AUTO_COMPLETE_MISC application preference is used to control whether a miscellaneous scheme associated with a sample, where the sample scheme's workflow status is Not Started, has its workflow status set to Completed automatically when the job's workflow status is set to Started.
The AUTO_CASCADE_MISC application preference is used to control whether a miscellaneous scheme workflow status cascades up to the sample.
Activity Steps
- Access the CCREGN—Job application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCREGN—Search Job screen.
- Enter the relevant search criteria and click Search. (All codes, enumerations and Job Name fields are case-sensitive for searching.)
Jobs that match the criteria display in the grid.
- Select the required job, and click Set Scheme Workflow Status row flow option.
The Set Workflow Status for Schemes without Analytes dialog box opens.
- Select the Workflow Status.
- Click OK.
For each selected job scheme, if the job scheme does not have any related job scheme analytes, if Not Started was selected and the job scheme's Workflow Status is Started, Released or Completed then the Workflow Status is set to Not Started, otherwise if Started was selected and the job scheme's Workflow Status is Not Started then the Workflow Status is set to Started, otherwise if Completed was selected and the job scheme's Workflow Status is Not Started, Started or Released then the Workflow Status is set to Completed.
Note: If the job scheme's Workflow Status is moving from or to Completed, the user must be a member of the user group denoted by the associated section's Validate Result User Group Code for the action to proceed, otherwise if the job scheme's Workflow Status is moving from or to Released, the user must be a member of the user group denoted by the associated section's Release Result User Group Code for the action to proceed, otherwise if the job scheme's Workflow Status is moving from or to Started or Not Started, the user must be a member of the user group denoted by the associated section's Access User Group Code for the action to proceed.
When a sample scheme is not started, the sample scheme's workflow status is set to Not Started, its composite specification status and composite QC status are set to Not Tested, its analysed, released, started and completed dates are unstamped, and analysed, released and completed by user are cleared.
When a sample scheme is set to started, the sample scheme's workflow status is set to Started and started date is stamped.
When a sample scheme is completed, the sample scheme's workflow status is set to Completed, its completed date is stamped and completed by is set to the current user.
