Scope
Search jobs by scope. The following options are available: All, Laboratory only, Organisation only.

Archive Status
Search jobs by their archive status:

Online Only (default)—Return jobs that reside in the Live Production Environment only.

Online and Archived—Return jobs that reside in the Live Production Environment or Archive Repository.
-
Online, Archived & Obsolete—Return jobs that reside in the Live Production Environment, Archive Repository or Offline Storage.

Job Type
Search jobs by type:
-
Production—A production job is a collection of samples and their tests submitted from a client, from which a certificate report of results is generated for the client.
-
Lab Batch—A laboratory batch job is a collection of samples for common testing, gathered together to save on costs and for time efficiency of preparation and analysis.
-
Internal—An internal job is a collection of samples and tests registered for internal purposes, for example, analysis of instrument calibration.
-
Proposal—A proposal job is a collection of proposed samples and tests for a client, so that the client can be given an example of a typical report and invoice if real samples were submitted for testing.
-
Template—A template job is used to create other jobs and can contain a collection of template samples and their tests that are optionally included when creating a job from it.

Schedule—A schedule job is similar to a template job except that it has a registration frequency, and contains a collection of stream samples and their tests, that may be used interactively to draft a job, update the draft job content, and from that create or update a production job, or that may be used by the batch queue at the scheduled time to create or update a production job with stream samples. A stream sample is a sample of a known product that is taken a particular location in the production process, or a standard sample that is inserted into the analytical stream of samples from the production process.

Draft—A draft job is a transient job that is created interactively from a schedule job, upon which its registration details, samples and tests can be modified prior to it being enacted to create samples in a production or internal job.

Include Cancelled Jobs
Indicates whether to include cancelled jobs in the search. By default, cancelled jobs are not returned from a search. Where a Workflow Status of Cancelled is included in the criteria and this check box is:

Checked — Cancelled jobs are included in the search result set. The Cancelled date range criteria becomes available on the Job Criteria tab.

Unchecked — The Workflow Status of Cancelled is ignored, such that, cancelled jobs are excluded from the search result set.

Archive Status
Jobs move through different archive states over time. The available statuses are:
-
Online — Active jobs currently available in the operational database.
-
Archived — Jobs that have been archived.
-
Obsolete — Jobs that have progressed beyond the archived state and are no longer active.

If empty, the system automatically searches for Online jobs only. User can select multiple statuses when performing a search.

Scheme Code
Search jobs by the code of an associated job scheme. Schemes returned from the search include a) org-scope schemes that have no line of business or a line of business matching one of the laboratory's lines of business, and b) lab-scope schemes.

Biofields Tab
The biofields criteria, each with a range or selection of values, to search for jobs. For example, locate any job that has a biofield where the Biofield Code is SHIP, Description is Ship and the biofield has the value MV Darwin or MV Sydney and another biofield where the Biofield Code is ARRIVAL and the biofield has a Value in the range 2 May 2014—30 May 2014.

Biofield Code
Search jobs by the code of an associated job biofield. More search criteria fields display according to the selected Biofield Code, for example, lists for list type codes, date pickers for date types, or wildcard or text values. A biofield may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active job biofields in scope, and linked to no line of business or to a line of business associated with the laboratory, as configured in the CCBFLD—Biofield application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCBFLD—Search Biofield screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

Save As—Save the selected job as a new job. Only applicable if a job's Job Type is Production, Internal, Proposal, Template or Schedule.

Open Batch Sample Maintenance—Launch the CCBTSM—Batch Sample Maintenance application for the selected job. Only applicable if a job's Job Type is Production, Laboratory Batch, Internal or Proposal.

Open Validation—Launch the CCVALN—Job and Sample application for the selected job. Only applicable if a job's Job Type is Production, Laboratory Batch, Internal or Proposal.

Cancel—Cancel a job, which sets a job's Workflow Status to Cancelled. Only applicable if a job's Job Type is Production, Laboratory Batch, Internal, Proposal or Template.

Reinstate—Reinstate a cancelled job, in which a job's Workflow Status is recalculated from its samples.

Open Sample Grid—Launch the CCSGRD—Update Sample Gridding screen for the selected job.

Set Scheme Workflow Status—Display a dialog box that allows the workflow status of one or more job schemes, where the job scheme has no associated job scheme analytes, to be updated.
Note: To update a job scheme's Workflow Status, a user must be a member of the section's access user group for the associated scheme.

Create Draft—Create a draft job from the schedule job. Only applicable if a job's Job Type is Schedule.

Enact—Create a production or internal job from a draft job. Only applicable if a job's Job Type is Draft.

Grid flows
- Export to Report—Report selected records from the search display grid. Available report templates are defined by the SEARCH_REPORT_<ApplicationName> application preference.

Promote—Promote template, schedule, production or internal selected jobs to contain the latest scheme version for their job scheme version analytes.

Mark As Received—Mark a job as received by the laboratory for a specific Received On date-time, where the job is not already marked as received.

Unfinalise—Unfinalise a job, which unstamps a job's Finalised Date.

Finalise—Finalise a job, which stamps the job's Finalised Date.

Jobs with a Job Type of Production, Laboratory Batch, Internal and Proposal can only be finalised if the job has a Workflow Status of Completed and the job's Validated Date is defined.

Jobs with a Job Type of Template and Schedule can be finalised regardless of the Workflow Status.
-
Jobs with a Job Type of Draft cannot be finalised.
