Maintain quotes
To search for quotes:
- Access the CCQUOTE—Quote application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCQUOTE—Search Quote screen.
- Enter the relevant search criteria and click Search to display quotes that match the criteria.
Note: All codes, enumerations and Job Name fields are case-sensitive for searching.
To access a quote via a client quote that links to it:
- Access the CCCLNT—Client application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCCLNT—Search Client screen.
- Enter the relevant search criteria and click Search to display clients that match the criteria.
- Open the required client to display the CCCLNT—Client Detail screen.
- Select the Invoicing tab.
- Select the Quotes sub-tab to view client quotes and their linked quotes (the base quotes that contain the pricing overrides).
To export quotes to a report:
- Search for quotes.
- Select the check box in the first column of each quote to be included in the report, or leave all quotes unselected to include all quotes in the report.
- Click Export to report on the grid to generate the grid report document.
Note: Until a search is performed, the Export to Report option is not available, and if any search criteria are updated the Export to Report option is not available until a search is performed.
During this process, the screen is greyed out and the Generating the Report notification widget appears in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. When the server finishes generating the report, the screen returns to normal and the notification widget is updated so the report can be downloaded.
To create a quote:
- Access the CCQUOTE—Quote application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCQUOTE—Search Quote screen.
- Click New to display the CCQUOTE—Quote Detail screen.
- Select the quote's Organisation Scope, as required.
- Enter the Quote Code or leave it empty for the system to generate it.
- Ensure Is Active is selected.
- Enter a Description, as required.

Enter a Default Start Date and optional Default End Date.

Select the Quote Currency.

Enter a Generic Discount, as required.
- Click Submit.
To create a quote from an existing quote:

Search for and open a quote to display the CCQUOTE—Quote Detail screen.

Click Save As.

Rename the quote.

Update the quote, as required.

To create a quote when creating a client quote:
- Access the CCCLNT—Client application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCCLNT—Search Client screen.
- Enter the relevant search criteria and click Search to display clients that match the criteria.
- Open the required client to display the CCCLNT—Client Detail screen.
- Select the Invoicing tab.
- Select the Quotes sub-tab to view client quotes and their linked quotes (the base quotes that contain the pricing overrides).
- Click
Add. - If the client quote has org-scope, then select whether the new client quote has Organisation Scope or not.
- Enter the Client Quote Code or leave it empty for the system to generate it.
- Enter the Quote Code ensuring that no other quote within scope has that code, or leave it empty for the system to generate it.
- Ensure Is Active is selected.
- Enter a Description, as required.

Enter a Default Start Date and optional Default End Date.

Select the Quote Currency or leave it empty for the system to assign the client's Currency to the quote.

Enter a Generic Discount, as required.
- Click Submit to create the client quote and underlying quote, with various details from the client quote being inherited into the quote.
To update a quote:

Search for the quote using a quote search or by searching for and opening a client to view its client quotes.

Open the required quote to display the CCQUOTE—Quote Detail screen.
- Update the fields, as required.
- Click Submit to update the quote. This affects all client quotes linked to the shareable quote.
To delete a quote:

Search for the quote using a quote search or by searching for and opening a client to view its client quotes.

Open the required quote to display the CCQUOTE—Quote Detail screen.
- Click Delete to display the Confirm Delete dialog box.
- Click OK. An error is returned where the quote still links to a client quote or invoice.
