A canned comment group is a collection of Canned Comments.

A canned comment group is created to allow for the quick insertion of comments into an entity, such as a note on a scheme or section.

Canned Comment Group Scope

Canned comment groups are created either with org-scope or lab-scope. An organisation or laboratory can contain multiple canned comment groups.

Use of Canned Comment Groups

Canned comment groups can be assigned to entities, such as schemes and sections, to further assist the selection of an appropriate entry in a note field related to that entity. For example, a scheme can be associated with a Results Canned Comment Group to allow comments to be easily entered against a sample scheme.
