Screen flows

• Submit—Perform a search using the entered search criteria and display the results in the grid.
• New Search—Return to the Search screen and clear the search results and the search criteria.
• New—Create a new item related to the application.
• Saved Searches—Display a saved searches menu where you can save a search, rename and delete existing searches. Refer to Using the Screen Interface for more information.

Primary Criteria Tab

The primary criteria to search for instruments.

• Instrument Code

  Search instrument by code.

• Name

  Search instrument by name.

• Description

  Search instrument by description.

• Instrument Category

  Search instruments by category of an instrument. Selected from categories with a Category Type of INSTRUMENTS.

• Status

  Search instrument by the status:

  • All
  • Active only
  • Inactive only.

• Maintenance Code

  Search instruments by maintenance code.

• Availability

  Search instruments by whether the instrument is flagged as active and/or online:

  • All
  • Online only
  • Offline only.

• Contained in Instrument Group

  Search instruments by code of an instrument group in which the instrument is a member.

Secondary Criteria Tab

The secondary criteria to search for instruments.

• Asset Number

  Search instruments by asset number.

• Licence Number

  Search instruments by licence number.

• Location Code

  Search instruments by the code of a location associated with an instrument. A location may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active locations in scope, as configured in the CCLCTN—Location application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCLCTN—Search Location screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

• Key Operator User Code

  Search instruments by code of the user who is the main operator of the instrument.

• Substitute Instrument Code

  Search instruments by code of the substitute instrument associated with an Instrument. An instrument may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active instruments in scope, as configured in the CCINST—Instrument application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCINST—Search Instrument screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

• Manufacturer

  Search instruments by manufacturer.

• Model

  Search instruments by model.

• Serial Number

  Search instruments by serial number.

Search Results Grid

• Grid flows

  • Export to Report—Report selected records from the search display grid. Available report templates are defined by the SEARCH_REPORT_<ApplicationName> application preference.
