Maintaining Reports in the Report Repository

A report is a document generated from a grid, report request or invoice, and contained within the CCLAS report repository.

Report Scope

Reports are created either with org-scope or lab-scope. An organisation or laboratory can contain multiple reports.

Reports are classified by type. Different applications create different types of reports:

  • Any search application, and some child grids:
    • Grid
    • Instrument Upload
    • Status
    • Financial
  • Job-based reports created from a report request:
    • Paperwork
    • Labels
    • Summary Sheet
    • Worksheet
    • Prep Sheet
    • Job Sheet
    • Report
    • Certificate
  • Invoice documents
    • Proposal Invoice
    • Invoice
    • Credit Note
    • Cost Invoice

Use of Reports

When reports are generated, they have an historical record of creation written into the report repository. Reports may be downloaded from the report repository, deleted or even replaced (if permission is granted). Other meta-data on the report record can be adjusted also.

The report repository may be searched to access and review historical reports.
