Maintaining Instrument Groups
An instrument group is a collection of Instruments.
An instrument group is defined to assist with the location of samples for tests for analysis.
Instrument Group Scope
Instrument groups are created either with org-scope or lab-scope. An organisation or laboratory can contain multiple instrument groups.
Use of Instrument Groups
An analytical preparation or analytical scheme can be assigned to a particular instrument group.
Samples required for batching can be located based upon the instrument group associated with the sample schemes.
