Maintaining System User Preferences
A system user preference is a particular system setting for a user.
System User Preference Scope
System user preferences are created at instance-level. An instance can contain multiple system user preferences.
A property can have various values, each with different scope: Laboratory, User or Role.
Use of System User Preferences
System user preferences are supplied with the system, and can be set to affect how the system operates, or to provide information about the system, for a given laboratory, user or role.
Examples include runtime configuration options for CCLAS, such as product name, localisation, various root folders, and grid preferences.
Configuring System User Preferences
System user preferences that store the user’s grid and column settings are saved automatically when a user shows, hides, or resizes a column. The grid’s default settings can be restored by clicking the restore icon that appears at the bottom of each grid.
