Restrictions on Creating Sample Portions due to Job Workflow Status

When a sample group is being defined or a sample is being updated, if the SAM_TRACK_REG_WHEN_JOB_COMPLETE application preference is:

• Defined and is checked, and the job's Workflow Status is Completed, then sample portions can be created.
• Defined and is checked, and the job's Workflow Status is something other than Completed, the sample portions cannot be created.
• Not defined, or is defined and is cleared, and the job's Workflow Status is Completed, then sample portions can be created.
