Screen flows

• Submit—Perform a search using the entered search criteria and display the results in the grid.

• New Search—Return to the Search screen and clear the search results and the search criteria.

• New—Create a new item related to the application.

• Saved Searches—Display a saved searches menu where you can save a search, rename and delete existing searches. Refer to Using the Screen Interface for more information.

Search criteria

• Scope

  Search products by scope. The following options are available: All, Laboratory only, Organisation only.

• Organisation Codes

  Search products by one or more codes of an associated organisation, typically for importing products. This criteria is only available when Scope is selected as All or Organisation only.

• Product Code

  Search products by code.

• Name

  Search products by name.

• Description

  Search products by description.

• Product Category

  Search products by category. Selected from categories with a Category Type of PRODUCTS.

• Status

  Search products by status:

  • All

  • Active only

  • Inactive only.

• Line of Business Code

  Search products by an associated line of business. This is relevant only to org-scope products. Lab-scope products are not associated with a line of business. Products returned from a search are automatically filtered by the laboratory's lines of business, however a line of business can be entered as a search criteria to further filter products by a specific line of business. A line of business may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active lines of business in scope, as configured in the CCLOFB—Line of Business application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCLOFB—Search Line of Business screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

• Chemical Name

  Search products by chemical name.

• Report Name

  Search products by report name.

• Manufacturer

  Search products by the manufacturer.

• Report Description

  Search products by report description.

• Primary Specification

  Search products by primary specification. The list only contains specifications where the Specification Type is Product.

• Disposal Sample Handling Code

  Search products by the code of a disposal sample handling.

• Scheme Code

  Search products by the code of an associated scheme.

• Scheme Name

  Search products by the name of an associated scheme.

• Analyte Code

  Search products by the code of an associated analyte.

• Analyte Name

  Search products by the name of an associated analyte.

• Product Type Description

  Search products by product type description.

• Promotable Products only

  Search products which link to a specification that contains scheme version analyte limits where the scheme has a higher published version available. The returned products can then be selected on the search results grid to have those specifications promoted to the latest published scheme version.

• Approved

  Search products by approved date. This criteria is only available when Scope is selected as All or Organisation only. Select start and end dates from the calendars, and a date range option:

  • Between

  • Any

  • Null

  • Delta.

• Importable Products only

  Search products which exist in an organisations other than the current organisation, are approved for distribution, and do not exist, as yet, in the current organisation. This criteria is only available when Scope is selected as All or Organisation only.

Search Results Grid

• Grid flows

  • Export to Report—Report selected records from the search display grid. Available report templates are defined by the SEARCH_REPORT_<ApplicationName> application preference.

  • Promote—Promote selected products to contain the latest scheme version for their specification scheme version analytes.

  • Approve—Approve selected products for export so that they can be used globally by all laboratories. This updates a product's Approve Date and user who has approved the entity. This action only applies to org-scope entities and is only valid for entities in the user’s current organisation.

  • Unapprove—Reverse the approval of selected products that were previously approved for export. This clears a product's Approved Date and user who previously approved the entity. This action only applies to org-scope entities, and is only valid for entities in the user’s current organisation.

  • Import Products—Import approved products from another organisation on the instance.
