Overview

Transport types, for example, rail or truck, are preconfigured so that when the samples of a job are containerised at the end of analysis and transported to store or back to the client, the samples are linked to a specific type of transport.

This process is pertinent to laboratory managers and sample store personnel who configure the sample storage environment for the laboratory.

Transport types are maintained by the Sample Track application.

Transport types are maintained using simple SCRUD (search, create, review, update, delete) functionality.
